Hello! When the weather warms here in Upstate you can be sure to find me out in the garden. Its still cool here but I wanted to show you whats springing up here, enjoy.
This post is so long overdo as I gave my little kitchen a re-fresh on a dime. The only time I had to take pics was at night when everyone was gone to soccer lol.No money was spent on this project as I had everything already on hand. I just repainted the cabinets and I covered the back splash in bead board that I had from another job.I printed off some cute quotes from Pinterest and framed them in some black dollar store frames that I had in my craft stash. They just inspire all of us.The hardware was painted hammered black I think it goes better with everything.Of course the counter tops were just some sponge painting
As the weathers been unseasonably warm up here,I did a little project so as to get outside and enjoy the sun. Its really a before and after that I found awhile ago and had stashed in the garage until I decided to give it a new life in my house.Enjoy the photos.
Today was a wonderfully warm day here in Upstate N.Y. so I decided to get out of the house and grab up some of that fresh air.As luck would have it I ended up at my local Salvation Army just intending to browse (lol) when I saw these two lamps. They had the most Gigantic torn stained old lampshades on them and when I removed them there were cobwebs to boot! They didn’t charge me extra for those thankfully:)
The shape on these lamps is just lovely! They really are all dirty and in need of some serious TLC and PAINT!!
As I was leaving the store with my $4.99 lamps I couldn’t help but notice this lonely little chair $1.99,how could I just pass that up right?
Well there you have it,so stay tuned to see my fabulous nasty old lamps make-over!
As I am busy up to my elbows with my kitchen Re-fresh,I took a little break to do this bedside table for my 8 year old son’s room.I got it at my usual place YES the Salvation Army for $1.99!!! It was absolutely AWFUL,but I had a vision!I knew the perfect spot for this little guy so I got to work priming painting and a little Modge Podge some tacks and were good to go.My boy is so very happy with his table, makes it all worthwhile:)Hard to believe its the same table dont you think?
